TOP
BRIDGE DECOMPRESSION KIT
When
short separate handlebars are fitted, you will
find the bar mounted de-comp lever is difficult
to position as it will be hard up against the forks.
This de-comp kit mounts to the original handlebar
post installation hole and solves the problem.
Real café racer style! Use with a top bridge
handlebar post cap (45148) for a complete finish.
We also recommend you use 100mm short cables (30175)
and (30176) to finish the job off like a pro.

TOP
BRIDGE HANDLEBAR
POST CAP
The
handlebar post cap fits into the original handlebar
post installation hole of the top bridge. The post
caps are sold individually so you can pair it up
with the top bridge mounted de-comp kit (45515),
or purchase two caps to covert your original top
bridge when fitting clip on bars. Aluminium cut
with a polished finish.

are made of stainless steel and have a highly polished
finish, perfect for classic or custom builds. Will
fit all 35mm applications (SR400 / SR500, GB &
XS etc).
Note: Installation of a handlebar stopper (26157)
is recommended with clip on bars to ensure that
your handlebars do not hit the tank. Fitting any
clip ons bars will not be compatible with original
head light stays. We recommend headlight stays

DAYTONA ALLOY
SEPARATE HANDLEBARS
Polished alloy separate handlebars from Daytona. Nicely polished bar ends so no need for additional separate bar ends when you are using these clip on's. Daytona Patent adjustable bar system allows adjustment between 9-15 degree's which makes them perfect for any classic or custom build. Bars fit all 35mm applications (SR400 / SR500, GB &
XS etc). 6mm allen key is included for adjustment.

HANDLEBAR
STOPPER
When fitting clip on bars to your
SR you will find the steering limit stop is made
for use with the original upright bars. To solve
the problem of risking costly damage from a hit
to your tank and switches, you can fit a steering
stopper. This steering stopper is made specifically
for SR400 SR500. Easy installation to the lower
triple clamp in minutes.
Note: When the stopper is installed the steering
lock cannot be used. You can modify the steering
lock stopper or use an external lock to ensure
that your bike meets all regulations

RISERS, CLOCKWISE & ANTICLOCKWISE THREAD
Many custom mirrors are right hand threaded. The Yamaha mounts (factory SR issue) are right hand and left hand thread. You can use this adaptor riser kit to fit right hand threaded custom mirrors to the original Yamaha mounts.
Note that if you have an aftermarket master cylinder on the right hand side it may have the right hand thread and therefore you wont need this kit.

SHORT
CABLES FOR USE WITH CLIP ON BARS...
With separate handlebars the best
cables to use are 100mm shorter in length. Don't
settle for the original cables that are too long.
The original cables look messy once the bars are
lowered to the clip on position. Improved operation
and routing with the shorter cables will avoid
kinks and will create a professional finish. Braided
brake lines for clip on conversion also available.
Also suitable for other bikes like XS650s CBs etc.
