Long time no entries?
Yea we know, it has been a long time since our last posting, and many of you will be thinking we forgot to come back from the few weeks close down we had over the Christmas & New Years period. Well if you made that assumption like some, you would be wrong! It's been business as usual (just with some extra demands thrown in!)
As normal when the work load and demand is in overload the website suffers! Having three weeks off has the undesired effect of putting us in a time lag. We have now worked out a formula for calculating the time lag for future reference. 1 day off = 5 days catch up, 3 days off = 3 weeks catch up, 3 weeks off = 3 months catch up!!! &*%^ Of course this formula was worked out over a "FEW BREWS" and may be a total load of sh*&....
So what’s new since our last post so long ago? Well if you are looking at this page then you will notice a slightly fresher looking VANEM website / blog / diary section. One day we will settle on a style that we like and then we can just leave the site alone!! Until we get it right however we will keep working on it....
New parts have been arriving and plenty have been floating around the airways to every destination possible the last few months. The desire for customers to build bikes has not slowed and therefore we have lots of new goodies to keep up with demand. There are too many new bits and pieces to list here so we will get a new parts page up shortly with an outline of the coolest gems we now have.
March also signals the release for new products and when we receive the new catalogues from Japan, so more to come soon about whats new. A few parts will also start to be discontinued as new products come through. We may plan for a limited stock sale to make room for the new 2009 products? Look out for the sales items in the next few weeks.
Dates to remember: 15th May through to the 5th June. We will visit some cool shows in Japan and we will be bringing you plenty of new content. During this period we will be open, but we will be limiting our service for a week or two so as to not create any over-load situation back in Sydney while away. So if you're thinking about buying parts soon, it would be a good idea to get in before mid May to avoid any delays (just in case there are any). If you have any requests for content you may want to see from Japan, now is also the time to also let us know...
Till next entry, ride safe.
